Refund policy

15 DAY SATISFACTION GUARANTEE 

We are so sure you will love your new FruitCat products that we offer a 15 day satisfaction guarantee on the equipment we represent!

  • If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase within 15 days from the date of delivery, you may return whatever product you are dissatisfied with for a full refund of the purchase price of that product, and we will pay the return freight. (Original freight charge not refundable) For Garden Tools: Only tools in NEW condition may be returned for full credit.
  • Upon inspection of returned merchandise, if we find non-warrantable parts broken or damaged, or any parts missing, those parts will be deducted from the amount refunded to the buyer. Refunds will be in the form of a company check, which will be issued after the merchandise is received and inspected by us.

30 DAY RETURN POLICY

In the event that an item / items need to be returned to the seller (Earth Tools), please contact us first to obtain return authorization. If the reason for return is because of an error on the part of Earth Tools (such as: we shipped the wrong item), Earth Tools will pay return shipping costs, and give full credit for the returned merchandise. If the reason for the return is because the item was ordered incorrectly by the customer, the customer shall pay shipping costs to send the item back, and the merchandise shall be subject to a 10% restocking fee. RETURN REQUESTS MUST BE MADE WITHIN 30 DAYS OF WHEN THE GOODS LEAVE HERE (special cases may apply…call to discuss if needed). Also see our Guarantee below.

WARRANTY

Warranties cover failures due to defects in manufacturing and/or workmanship. Warranties do NOT cover failures due to improper use, improper maintenance, components being out-of-adjustment, or normal wear and tear.

We offer a 5 year warranty on the frame of FruitCat 5 / 5+ upon registration. For all other components, we fulfill the warranty of 2 years. We do our utmost to make our products low-maintenance and repair-friendly. The Li-Ion battery for FruitCat 5+ is suitable for approx. 1,000 charging cycles and should last many seasons with proper maintenance (charge to 80% approx. every 3 months). Since we buy this ourselves, we are limited with regard to warranty and can only give 1 year of warranty. If you have any questions about our warranty conditions, please feel free to contact us.

All warranties cover parts and labor during the specified warranty period. Shipping charges are typically NOT covered under warranty, but in the event of a warrantable failure, Earth Tools MAY absorb a portion of shipping costs, according to the following schedule:

Earth Tools will pay shipping costs to get warranty replacement parts to the customer, and shipping costs to get defective goods back from customer, if needed. In the event that the customer is unable to perform the repair, and an entire tractor or implement needs to be shipped back to Earth Tools for warranty repair: Even though the equipment manufacturer does not cover any shipping costs at all, Earth Tools will cover shipping costs on the item ONE WAY: to Earth Tools. Customer is responsible for shipping costs incurred getting the repaired item back to the customer, which shipping costs shall be billed at Earth Tools cost, with no handling fees.
